The first session is usually for parents, although older children and teens are often involved in the first session too. You will be asked questions about your concerns, your child’s history, and your family’s needs. You and your child may be asked to complete questionnaires
Sessions are usually 50 minutes long; the remaining 10 minutes are for note-taking and planning the next session.
The number of sessions will depend on the type and severity of the problem. Your psychologist will be able to give you an estimate after your first appointment
Rates are recommended by the British Columbia Psychological Association (BCPA). The fee applies to appointments and related services, such as phone consultations, report writing, or the completion of forms. Please click here to see the current fees.

Dr. Freeman also accepts third-party, direct payments from programs such as Victim’s Services Funding, Autism Funding, Jordan’s Principle, and private or independent schools; these payments need to be arranged before the start of services.
